5-Stone Diamond Ring

Design Brief

Our customer inherited her mother’s eternity ring and never wore it as its design was so different from her other jewellery, it just never looked right. Having languished in a drawer for several years, she heard about our re-design service from a friend and decided to do something about it.

The original ring was in 18ct yellow gold, half set with brilliant cut diamonds. The band had worn away at the back significantly and a few of the diamonds were heavily included.

Christopher created a few designs in platinum, so that the updated design would sit beautifully against her platinum engagement ring.

In the end, our customer opted for this 5-stone design in platinum which looks stunning next to her other rings. The remaining two brilliant cut diamonds were made into diamond stud earrings in 18ct white gold and the original yellow gold band was returned to our customer for sentimental reasons.
